Proud to Stand For The Arts
This fall, Charter is proud to continue our partnership with the arts network Ovation and promote their signature Stand For The Arts campaign. This national initiative is dedicated to raising awareness, protecting access, and encouraging support of local arts initiatives. Awards are granted based on organizations’ ability to create inclusive access to artistic programming and their innovative approach to arts education and skills development. With Ovation, we’re pleased to be awarding a total of $120,000 in grants in a dozen communities we serve across the country.

ASHEVILLE, N.C. — Student artists at Buncombe County Schools get $1,000 in college scholarships, thanks to Charter Communications. Students also have the chance to have their artwork hung up in the company’s building. The artwork and award are a part of Buncombe County School district’s partnership with Charter. It also encourages students to be creative.

Children’s Cabinet In Reno Received Donation From Charter
RENO, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) — The Children’s Cabinet in Reno received a donation from Charter Communications on Thursday to provide several local families with the chance to sleep a little better. The check of $3,250 will go toward nearly 20 new mattress sets for Washoe County families, according to officials, who said they wanted to kick off the giving season and bring attention to families in need.
