Charter is stronger because of the unique talents and strengths our employees bring to our teams, including the nearly 10% of our workforce with a military affiliation.

This National Invest in Veterans Week, we’re spotlighting a few of our efforts to help veterans, guardsmen, reservists, military spouses, and transitioning service members achieve lasting career success at Charter:

  • Nationally Certified Broadband Field Technician Apprenticeship Program: Available in all 41 states where we offer service, this program provides career progression through on-the-job training and allows qualified veterans to obtain GI Bill benefits in addition to their paycheck from Spectrum.
  • Partnerships with Military Bases and Veterans Organizations:
    • Hiring Our Heroes Corporate Fellowship Program: Provides fellows with on-the-job training and professional development opportunities across several different business units. Charter has hosted 46 fellows since 2020 and hired 32 into full-time roles.
    • Ft. Bragg Career Resource Center: Allows active-duty service men and women the opportunity to explore and acquire training for a career with Charter at our on-site career resource center.
    • Military Spouse Employment Partnership: Helps tap into a talent pool of qualified professionals married to members of the armed services across our national footprint.
  • Dedicated Military and Veteran Resources: From in-person and online job fairs to a dedicated hiring portal, Charter provides veteran-focused resources that deliver support, create connection, and recruit talent from the military community.

As a Military Friendly Employer Gold Award recipient and a VETS Index 5 Star Employer, we’re creating an environment and offering career advancement opportunities that give our former military members and their families the ability to thrive.
