Charter Takes New Steps to Block Robocalls
No, it is not just you – every month, US consumers are estimated to receive billions of robocalls. However, as Spectrum’s Senior Vice President of Internet and Voice Products, Carl Leuschner, says “these unwanted or fraudulent calls are not only a nuisance, but can also pose security threats to consumers targeted by scams.” That’s why Charter recently launched Call Guard, a new advanced caller ID and robocall blocking solution, for both Spectrum Voice and Spectrum Business Voice customers.

Charter’s partnership with Hiya will help our customers identify spam calls, block specific numbers, and identify calls from businesses.

Charter Statement on Collaboration with State Attorneys General to End Robocalls
Today, Charter joined with 51 State Attorneys General in a collaborative effort to help end annoying and fraudulent robocalls. Charter remains committed to ensuring that our customers have a broad range of tools to combat robocalls by implementing the SHAKEN/STIR call authentication protocol by the end of the year.

Putting Customers First: Ending Unwanted Robocalls for Spectrum Voice Subscribers
At Charter we are always exploring new ways to enhance the customer experience and have been expanding the ability of our customers to stop unsolicited robocalls using a call-blocking application “Nomorobo.” Robocalls are the automated telephone calls that convey a recorded message, typically on behalf of a telemarketing company or a political party, that always seem to be placed during dinner or at kids’ bedtime.
