CHCI announced today that Charter Communications will significantly support its mission to develop the next generation of Latino leaders.
“We want to congratulate Charter on its successful merger with Time Warner Cable,” said Cristina Antelo, CHCI Interim President and CEO. “And we greatly appreciate its strong support of our mission. We look forward to working with Charter during this exciting time of growth and change and are very pleased that the company will build upon Time Warner Cable’s strong commitment to support America’s future leaders.”
“As one of the preeminent Latino/a youth leadership organizations, the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute makes a meaningful difference in the lives of thousands of young people and we at Charter look forward to working as an active partner in helping shape the nation’s next generation of great leaders,” said Catherine Bohigian, Executive Vice President, Government Affairs, Charter Communications.
The Charter Communications/CHCI partnership supports CHCI’s Congressional Internship Program and has provided opportunities for 28 future leaders to gain valuable work experience in Washington, D.C. since 2010. Charter is also a Capstone Partner for CHCI’s capital campaign, Building Our Future, Together.
