Charter is proud to see that, with the recent release of the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) Ninth Measuring Broadband America Fixed Broadband Report, the hard work and investments in our network continue to pay off for our customers.
Spectrum Internet from Charter was reported to have the fastest, most consistent download speeds for the third consecutive report in a row.
- We exceeded 100% of our advertised upload and download speeds – on all three speed tiers that were measured.
- Importantly, the report also found that Charter exceeded advertised speeds even during peak usage defined as the hours of 7:00 – 11:00 pm on weekdays at the time of the report, meaning that when internet usage is at its highest, our network is meeting the demand and delivering the performance our customers expect.
Spectrum Internet by Charter offers reliable high-speed broadband with minimum download speeds 4-to-8 times faster than the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) current definition of high speed (25/3 Mbps). And our network is 99.9% reliable.
With millions working and learning from home due to the coronavirus pandemic, access to a dependable, high-speed internet connection has never been more important, and we’re proud of our performance in this year’s FCC Measuring Broadband America Fixed Broadband Report. Charter strives every day to better serve our customers and give them the products and services they want: fast speeds, consistent performance, and 99.9% network reliability.
