To make broadband more accessible for low-income learners and seniors, we offer Spectrum Internet Assist, an industry-leading high-speed, low-cost broadband service for qualified customers. Charter also actively participates in the FCC's Affordable Connectivity Program, which offers eligible households savings of $30/month on internet service.
To increase adoption and access to technology, we offer philanthropic support to community organizations and have doubled our yearly commitment to the Spectrum Digital Education Grant program, which provides computers, digital education classes, and technology labs for thousands across the country.
Spectrum Employee Community Grants helps enhance the positive impact our employees are already making in their communities.
An important part of Charter’s commitment to the communities we serve are our Spectrum News Networks – over 30 news channels in 12 states that provide 24/7 news, weather, and sports coverage to viewers in Charter markets around the country. Through programming like In Focus, a weekly public affairs show exclusively on Spectrum News networks, Charter is delivering high quality programming that has an impact on the community.
Red Bird Christian School is located in the heart of Kentucky’s Appalachian Mountains, in the middle of Coal Country. In this remote, rural area, where chronic poverty and rugged terrain can present challenges for its residents, Red Bird provides quality education to local students regardless of their ability to pay. Additionally, the school offers enrichment classes in physical education, foreign language, and music, and many extracurricular activities.
