As Charter continues to strive to better connect and serve our 26 million customers, we’re excited to launch Spectrum Mobile. With our entry into mobile, we’re making the wireless market more competitive for the benefit of our customers and giving them greater flexibility and value.

Spectrum Mobile offers customers the best speeds, with the best devices, at the best value. Customers have the freedom to choose between two plans that are simple and easy to understand: the unlimited plan priced at $45/month for the first line and every line, or By the Gig for $14/Gig, shared across all lines.

Charter has 280 million-plus wireless devices on our WiFi network and adding mobile to our suite of products solidifies Charter’s place as a connectivity leader in both wired and wireless broadband.

Since 2014, we have invested more than $27 billion in technology and infrastructure. These investments have enabled us to extend the reach of our network, including to rural areas, and significantly increase our broadband speeds at no additional cost to our customers. Last year we boosted our starting broadband speed at no extra cost to our customers from 60 Mbps to 200 Mbps in 40% of our footprint and 100 Mbps nearly everywhere else – and we are rolling out Spectrum Internet Gig with plans to make it available across our entire 41 state footprint by the end of 2018. Now, we are bringing the same customer-first approach to our mobile.

The next step in our mobile evolution will be to deploy LTE licensed small cells, then 4G LTE and 5G wireless access technologies, and integrate them with our existing infrastructure. We are conducting extensive trials to inform how we will leverage these innovative technologies to improve our wireless products in a select cities across the country, and will be expanding this testing in the months ahead.

With Spectrum Mobile, we’re excited to be bringing competition, our customer focused approach and the next wave of innovation to wireless.
