Charter, GlobalWIN and Senators discuss driving innovation

Charter recently joined with the Global Women’s Innovation Network (GlobalWIN) to host West Virginia Senator Shelley Moore Capito and New Hampshire Senator Maggie Hassan for an inspiring conversation about driving innovation, closing the digital divide and advancing women’s opportunities in the workforce and STEM fields. Both Senators spoke about the importance of working across the political aisle to address the issues of greatest importance to their constituents like combatting the opioid epidemic and improving access to broadband in rural areas. They also discussed their commitment to increasing women’s participation in innovation and STEM fields through education and mentorship. Charter is proud to have hosted this event with GlobalWIN, an organization working to provide a dynamic forum for women who are passionate about innovation.
