“We have strongly supported and hope to participate in the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program and we commend the efforts of Acting Chairwoman Rosenworcel and all at the FCC who moved this important effort forward swiftly. Charter has long been committed to helping to close the digital divide by addressing broadband access, adoption, and affordability, including through our Spectrum Internet Assist offer for low-income consumers, our Stay Connected offer for K-12 schools, and the extension of our broadband network into rural areas. The program offers a tremendous opportunity to help low-income families stay connected during the COVID-19 pandemic and we look forward to reading the final rules.”
